Help for Native English Speakers
You have probably quickly noticed that expectations for writing and research are far higher at your university than they were in high school. English is your first language, but you keep losing grades in your assignments because of your grammar and writing style alone – even before you lose points for problems with your content and poor citation!
This is not your fault. You are intellectually curious (your courses fascinate you and you read avidly on your own), and you are naturally intelligent, but simply put, the public education system has not prepared you properly for university. Academic standards in writing have been sliding for decades in public schools and you are one of the tens of thousands of victims of this unfortunate trend.
Our tutors can help you. They can connect with you on relatively short notice on Zoom when you need them to help you with formulating your thoughts and structure your writing, teaching you how to study and research more efficiently, checking your grammar, and instructing you on how to cite your sources properly (to avoid unintentional plagiarism). All our tutors hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and have much experience with academic writing.

Essay or Written Paper Proofreading or Editing
Have you already written your essay or term paper? It is a very good idea to have it proofread or edited.
“Proofreading” means that we will check your paper for issues pertaining to grammar, typos and careless errors in general. We can proofread your paper quickly and on relatively short notice. You send us your paper electronically and we identify any corrections you need to make to the text.
“Editing” means that we will proofread your paper, but also read it more closely and provide critical feedback on its structure, organization, citation, coherence, and overall writing style. We will provide detailed suggestions when we feel modifications should be made.
Contact us first with a general inquiry if you have a completed written assignment, essay or term paper. When we reply, you can send it to us via e-mail attachment. We will charge a fixed rate, not an hourly rate (even if it takes our editors longer to edit than expected), but we must first have a look at your document to determine a rate.
